Comparison is the Ultimate Distraction

The moment you compare is the moment you become distracted.

That’s all comparison is; a distraction. It takes away your focus on what actually matters even if it’s just comparing the days of the week. All it really takes is to make a choice. A choice that says, “I choose to be grateful for each new day” ...even Mondays.

The fact that you are here is monumental. The fact that you are even alive is incredible. You survived a global pandemic. How you handled it doesn’t really matter. All that matters is that you are here.

You are also surviving a world with a hierarchical bull shit illusion that you need to be more. Well, you don’t.

So let's change this narrative together. One by one. Starting with loving every single day of the week because it is a new opportunity. A new opportunity to be ourselves.

A new opportunity to stand in your own sovereignty where you belong. I new opportunity to overcome the self-imposed limitations that we carry around because they were embedded in us. Let’s normalize the narrative that says, I am allowed to be gentle with myself. I am allowed to give myself the space I need to stand in my truth. I am allowed to take a mental health day. I am allowed to rest. I am allowed to be still. I am allowed to move.

The world needs you to recognize that you are here for a reason. You are important. You don’t have to experience one singular powerful event in your life to become important either. You just have to realize that you already are. Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving yourself space to stand in your truth. Thank you for being here. Thank you for existing because being yourself alone is already empowering. You are enough.
